How to Troubleshoot PracticeWorks with ODBC Engine Client Interface LNA Pervasive Error
If you receive a ‘Data Path and Version Error’ for PracticeWorks even after the ‘Sikka DSN’ name is already added to Pervasive PSQL. Here’s the solution.
Open Error log file to identify the error message:
1. Navigate to Practice Works data folder. Example: C\PWORKS\DATA\
2. Look for 'SETDDF.EXE' application
3. Double click the SETDDF.EXE application
4. Click on ‘Refresh Data’ again from the SPC.
5. This should resolve the error and complete the data refresh.
