      Understanding how to install Sikka SPU on a new server.

      Server Migration

      New Server:

      To install the Sikka Platform Utility on the new server: 

      1. Login to your marketplace account from https://account.sikka.ai/ 
        In the ‘Account Details’ section, click on the ‘Download SPU’ option.


        Once the Sikka Platform Utility Installer has been downloaded, locate the file on the computer and open it. 

         

      2. Run the installer. Once you run the installer, you will see the screen below. Please click on continue.

       

       


      Troubleshooting:
      While installing, It may take around 8 - 10 min to enable the .Net Framework, but it is observed on some pc's it takes longer than expected time, may be its pc specific issue.

      3. On the next screen, Please enter the Sikka account email id and password. This will be the email and password used to register with sikka. If you wish to reset the password, you can do so with the 'forgot password' option.


      Note: If you receive a pop-up that ‘an account is detected’ with your account details, please select the option to create a new account.

       



       

      4. On the next screen, Configure your practice management system. Enter the details for the Practice management system and click 'next'. 

       

       

      5.  The installation will begin. This may take a few minutes to complete.

      6. When the installation has completed, you will see the following screen below. On this page, you will see when the Practice Management system was last refreshed and synchronized.
      Select the “Refresh Data” button to run the utility. Once this is completed, you are good to go!

       

       

       



      Old server:

      1. Open the location where the sikka platform utility is installed. To find the location, right-click on the sikka platform utility logo, and click ‘open file location’

      2. Run the Uninstaller file


      3. While uninstalling, it will ask for a security code, You will receive the security code on your registered email id.
